Certification is Voluntary
Certification by APBFRM is a voluntary credential. It does not replace or supersede any state license to practice podiatric medicine. APBFRM is a private certifying organization and is not currently recognized by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) or the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
